I saw your PM as well. Thank you so much. Now I just have to figure out what to do in Italy for seven days.

When I was 18, I went two months alone to Europe. At 19, I did a month in Russia and another in Eastern Europe. Year later I did central Asia.

What I'm trying to get at is your in no danger at all; trust me, youll be more than fine.

Thanks OP. Saw this early this morning.
booked
BOS - LHR, AMS - YUL for 251 this morning.

there seems to be some type of overnight train/ferry service from LHR - AMS. I am try that this time. I had done eurostar from LHR - BRU earlier this year.

the only problem is that I will be going to Europe 3 times in the same month, as i try to rollover 23K eqm and fly 27K by end of Feb to qualify for gold till 2013. already have 5 trips book on ST next year by the end of Feb. 2 of them are going to WAW.

i decided that going to europe would be a ton more fun with a friend i knew well.

so i canceled and learned to buy a pair of tickets instead of myself and waiting until class next day to ask friends only to find fares GONE.

will hope for more future amazing fares

DL/KL/AF ones are gone. I still see AZ fares in the same ball park using similar routing but will not require dump+bus/train, if you return from the right city. ^ checked around MLK weekend and shows avail. also works from ORD and MSP. lowest ai to italy but others (NCE, BCN, etc) work too for a little more. obviously, i was looking for warmer destinations in jan.

apologies in advance for being a bit cryptic for those that are new.

Edit: Fares are gone as of this morning (12OCT)

While not as amazing as the fares posted earlier, I'm getting decent fares here in the South/Southwest by using AZ and substituting MEX for YYZ/YUL. (And, let's face it, MEX is often easier/cheaper to access from this neighborhood.)

MIA-MUC//FCO-MEX, $455
DFW-WAW//FCO-MEX, $475
TPA-WAW//FCO-MEX, $475
SAT-VIE//FCO-MEX, $491
MIA-PRG//FCO-MEX, $491
IAH-VIE//FCO-MEX, $493
ATL-MAD//FCO-MEX, $494
IAH-PRG//FCO-MEX, $498
DFW-LHR//FCO-MEX, $508
LAX-BCN//FCO-MEX, $537
LAX-BUD//FCO-MEX, $559

All pricing verified on Orbitz for 11-18JAN.

I see it, in plain sight. It does not involve "trick-it/negotiate it" at all.
