Your deals are too expensive for me (most of the fares here are), but honestly, people should be paying you for all of the "deals of the day" you post in this thread. ^

SA/TK: LUN-LHR $1528 rt, D/J Class

I got this fare ticketed by Orbitz. Found it on ITA and Kayak. Tickets available on Cheaptickets and Orbitz websites as per Kayak. Fare is $521 + $1007 tax for business class! Ticket numbers as well SAA record locator received. I hope this fare is true and no airline/Orbitz repurcussions happen

Works already for €1650, both directions on LH. Several dates available in September. Best thing for me: Just €60 fee for cancelations. Great way to burn some SWUs.

Probably because the standard of living in Qatar is higher than in Manila...

Lots of dates actually. Still available. I just used ITA Software to find it using the flexible dates feature, and then booked via Amex Centurion.

No kidding? I would have loved to have LH on the way back, or even LX, but the fare went up significantly when I tried that. My agent couldn't even price out LX at the same rate I was seeing on ITA (only £150 more) -- it was £2,000 more for her. I'll survive on OS as I have before, and I'll definitely live it up with some SWUs on LH on the outbound.

Thanksgiving transatlantic fares in First, also-- LH/UA

Not sure if anyone is booking them, as seat maps are wide open on the flights I've checked, but SFO-LHR rt is $3640ai for A fare on UA. Works to FRA, MUC, also, for a hundred or so more dollars... seems like a better deal than the Z fares to me.

I guess Christmas is different in the sense that people do visit Europe for, e.g. the markets in Germany? Therefore no low biz fares?

In recent years there have always been low US to Europe Z fares for travel during a period of two to three weeks around Christmas. Typically released between late August and October -- in other words, probably soon.
