Nice found, the same price as SFO-HKG but more miles. Good for those who missed ORD-HKG.

If you use MSP as the origin it can, e.g. MSP-SFO-NRT-HKG.

MSP-HKG is the same price as DTW-HKG on UA.

Not really that good, but I did ticket using MSP instead of DTW for MSP-ORD-SEA-NRT-HKG. Then I purchase separate ORD-MSP on priceline a day before my MSP-HKG flight, and use some of my hilton points to overnight in MSP in order to make it works. Too bad the return routing does not go thru ORD for the dates that I want, or I can dump the last segment.

Luckily, my priceline for ORD-MSP come up as UA flights (save my checked bags fees if it is not UA) with $162.67 ai, vs united.com $238 ai, my entire trip end up $840 ai.

Several days earlier, I missed UA ORD-HKG $802 ai fare.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

Too bad about the tight travel window... I'd be all over this but I'm already on the road most of February.

Seems like the fare is offered for outbound till March 31 though availability appears quite limited.

And ORD - MSP is pretty cheap. UA runs a ton of flights just like ORD - DCA and the face that SW is in the market really helps

Too bad about the minimum stay.

Let's see if SYD fares drop in the coming weeks.

Well the problem is the dates offer for ORD-MSP in order to connect for MSP-HKG are not cheap ! ORD-MSP cheaper fares are usually weekends. MSP-HKG departure are midweek fares in order to ticket in K class.

If not, I don't need to use priceline for ORD-MSP-ORD in order to do this, I could have used UA with multi-city search for all one ticket ORD-MSP-ORD-SEA-NRT-HKG.
