For example, the only non-insanely-priced fares available for LAX-JFK/BOS/EWR/IAD/NRT/CDG are in one of the 0.5 EQP classes. Only if you want to fly to or through MIA do the V fares surface.

Can also throw in the 1am redeye to DFW and make it LAX-DFW-BOS-MIA-AUA-MIA-BOS-DFW-LAX, sample dates 11/19-20 $670 ai booking in V outbound / L return, also 11/19-21 (2 nights in AUA) $658 ai booking in V both ways.
To book just build itin using multi-segment on aa.com then call web services to upfare.
