Loop barber?
I'm looking for a decent (and cheap) barber in the loop. Cheap is the most important - my haircuts are super simple. Though I'd be willing to pay more for a place that shaves the back of your neck with a straight razor.
|
If you weigh "cheap" over having an actual barber, there's a Supercuts on the 2nd floor of Thompson Center. A simple cut is about $16.
|
I'm looking for the same thing, esp. the razor/neck part. I've not been yet, but it's about time for a haircut, so I'm going to give State St. Barbers @ 1547 N. Wells St. a shot.
More Old Town than Loop, but close. |
Check out Frank's at the Monadnuk building. old school barber, good quality cut for around $20.

If the OP PMs me, I'll recommend the best barber. :) |
Madison Hairstyling has been in the Loop for 30 years or more. They are on Madison just west of Clark, upstairs.
Kim is a very good barber, and quite cute too! ;) Cuts are around 20$ or so I think. Dave |
Thanks for all the suggestions - I wound up going to Mario at Frank's Barber. Good pick!

Might be late, but one more...
Trader's at 311 S. Wacker. I've been going there for over ten years. Nancy is the only barber who can cut my hair properly. Lots of scissors and razors and she'll do a quick shoulder massage at the end. All for a normal haircut (@$20) price. My haircut takes 30 minutes and you generally need an appointment.
