Sports Bars at MSP
 

I have a layover in MSP during a very important football game. What is the best restaurant to watch the game on the secure side of the airport? Also, what is usual wait times at customs? Will be arriving around noon on a Saturday.

Please let us know which airline you will be flying. Also the complex (Humphrey vs Lindbergh) where you will be going thru Customs and having your layover.

It makes a difference! I cannot comment on the NW side of the airport complex as have not gone there in years .. am on the AA/UA/DL side of the world (concourse).

Best place might be at NWs WorldClub if you are a member.

Flying NW in from Tokyo, which should be the Lindbergh terminal.

The best "true" sports bar is probably the Varsity Sports Bar and Grill, but that's all the way over at the beginning of the B concourse. They'll probably be playing your game, but it'll be a bit of a hike coming from the customs/immigration area. It is all behind security, though.

Let me know if you'd like detailed instructions on how to get there. Otherwise, you can use the maps/links above to make your way there. I do recommend walking to the beginning of the C concourse and taking the tram the whole way from the beginning of C to the beginning of B, though.
