ORD Transit

I realize that this question does not belong in this forum, but because of my lack of knowledge about FT, I don't know where to put it, and I'm pretty sure it's so easy that it will get answered before a mod will move it.

I'm taking a UA flight from ORD tomorrow late afternoon. How much time would you budget to get from downtown (Clark/Lake) to O'Hare using the Blue Line CTA? Usually I know the trip is under an hour, but two friends have suggested that because of construction, I should expect at least 1.5 hours. Has anyone does this in the last couple days on a weekday afternoon that can give me a definitive answer?

Thanks so much, and again I apologize for breaking an FT rule.

We actually have a Chicago forum, so that's where I'll move this.

(and your friends are correct...)

Concur with your friends. The inbound blue line to Monroe took me at least 75 minutes last week, on a Tuesday at 11:00 a.m., with all the slow zone construction between O'Hare and the dip underground. Bring Xanax.
