Is there a shuttle between Concourse C and E at ORD?

Is there a shuttle between Concourse C and E at ORD? According to the Airport map on the United website, there appears to be a shuttle between Concourses C and E. Is there really such a shuttle? Thanks.

Da. Leaves all the way from the "left" end of C. Down by the low number. C4 is it? Someone who actually flies UX from ORD knows, I'm sure.

Yes, IIRC its between C9 and F2 (F and E are essentially the same)

C9 and E3 (F2 would entail going all the way around Terminal 2 or going under it). There are stairs and signs marking it. It's not on the overhead signs though.

I guess that's why I've never noticed it with no overhead signage. I am on a flight in Aug. from CVG to SFO via ORD and the CVG flight usually arrives near E2, and the SFO flight generally departs from Concourse C. This shuttle should save some walking. Any idea how long the wait is between shuttles? As for signage, if it's not marked overhead, what should I be looking for? Thanks.

The frequency of the shuttles is such that taking the shuttle will always save time versus walking between the terminals. That's my way of avoiding guessing the frequency, which I'd assume changes based on day and time. On average, I've waited less than 7 minutes for the shuttle.

Check out the ORD layout in Hemispheres magazine for the exact location. There is definitely some signage around it, but I walked by it a bunch of times before noticing it.

Thanks for your understanding.

I gotta agree that the signage is _bad_. I must change at ORD 20 times a year, and I _still_ can't find the damn thing from the E end. What's the secret??

On the E side (it's E3, edited my initial post), IIRC, it's near a bank of monitors (maybe even behind the bank a little) and in the gate area. Not out on the councourse hallway. The key is to look for a staircase that goes down.

Thank you for the information on the shuttle, it's location, and what to look for. I am glad I asked this question, this will save a lot of walking.
