Alone in KC
 

Greetings FT,

I'll be alone in KC tonight and tomorrow night. Usually my coworkers are around so we go out to eat, etc, but this week I'm staying in town an extra day and a half. Any suggestions of things to do/see? Only free in the evenings and I'm not into sports or museums. Thanks! -xj

The plaza's usually a good bet. There is ample shopping and dining there. IIRC, the Barnes & Noble was usually pretty busy on Friday nights (plus, they've got a public bathroom:p).

KC's a good town for poeple who like eating (BBQ), sports (Negro League HOF), and museums. Excluding those things, you're pretty much left with shopping and Jazz clubs.

As far as shopping goes, the Plaza is an excellent choice. You also could check out the Westport area or Crown Center.
