SNOW SCULPTING COMPETITION - Schaumburg
Puppies, dragons and Walter Payton. These are among the subjects artists at THE ART OF SNOW, SCULPTING COMPETITION promise to create. Not only can you watch pros make something out of virtually nothing, you can vote for your favorite frozen water work at Roosevelt University's Albert A. Robin Campus. Feb. 11 to Feb. 12, 2006 from 8:00 a.m. to 10 p.m. 1400 N. Roosevelt Rd., Schaumburg, 847-427-0703, www.snowvisions.org

It's fun to see the amazing art work in ice. The traffic in the area sucks. Make sure you don't have anywhere else to go.

The sculptures are still up. With the warm weather and rain expected, not sure for how much longer. Some really creative entries ^
