Summer Wing Fest
 

If the summers of your youth were spent listening to what's now considered an "oldie" while eating fried chicken, then the FIRST ANNUAL SUMMER WING FEST 2004 is your kind of event. Sponsored by oldies station WJMK-FM, more than 16 different area restaurants will whip up their chicken wing recipes between 1:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Sept. 4 and Sept. 5. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for kids under 12, plus the price of your favorite wings. A portion of proceeds benefit the Neighbors of River West and the Jesse White Tumbling Team.
