I know it's not the same, but I buy the bulgogi marinade at the Korean grocery store (right off the Kennedy) and make my own ribs on the grill. They turn out quite well.

Joong Boo Shi Jang I believe.

Now there is HMart in Niles and ASSI also in Niles. Decent food court in both.

Yes, it's Joong Boo Market. There's also a HMart in Lisle, for the west/far westerners here.

A new place that has great kalbi is Kohan, in University Village off of 90/94. Service is so-so, but the owners are wonderful and the marinade is well made.

It's all about the sauce.

There is a good buffet place on Lincoln near Western but I can't remember the name. Not Garden Buffet (closed). I have been going there forever but can't remember the name. Real close to being called a hole in the wall but tastes great. Maybe something like Hongdo etc. You will walk out of their with you whole body smelling like BBQ for all you neighbors to notice.
