Car services?
 

Anyone have a car service they'd recommend? I take a cab most of the time, but figured I'd investigate cars. I would be giving pretty regular business, so if they have discounts, that'd be good too.

One of our preferred vendors here at work is O'Hare Midway Limousine Service. List price is $36 for a shared limo (standard or stretch, same price) between my place in Evanston and O'Hare, which is ~$10 more than a cab and well worth it.

Of the dozen or so times I used them in the past year, I've always booked as shared and only once did I end up having somebody else riding with me. A private car for the same route is $56, so that's worth the gamble to me (at least when I'm not traveling on business).

Thanks, blort! I'll give them a shot. That's about what I'm looking for. If it's $10 or so, my clients won't care, but if it was $30, they would. I'll give them a try this weekend.

They don't offer the shared service to downtown. Any recommendations for moderately priced car service to downtown/The Loop?

Have been using Northbrook Limousine for years for my wife to take a limo from work to ORD. Trip cost is $35. They have always been prompt.
