Gary airport back on radar

Location, location and location are said to be the three factors that count when it comes to real estate. But somehow, that’s never seemed to apply to the Gary/Chicago Airport.

Though it’s just a 35-to-40-minute drive from the Loop—no longer than the trip to O’Hare International or Midway airports, and much shorter than the hour-or-longer drive to far south suburban Peotone—the Indiana facility gets as much respect as Rodney Dangerfield.

I think I've stated this before, but having driven by and around the Gary airport many times, I just don't see how any expansion could occur.

edited to add: I would like to see Gary before Peotone w/all the cronies get approved. Although from a personal standpoint I would never use it being only 1 mile from ORD.
