Lyft at O'hare
 

I'll be using Lyft for the first time when arriving at O'hare in a couple of days. My first question is do I need to schedule a pickup at the airport in advance, or can I just do it when I arrive there?

I've seen conflicting comments re tipping Lyft drivers. One comment says drivers can not accept tips in cash, and other comments say yes they can. I'd rather do it in cash directly to the driver versus having the tip added to the app billing. Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated.

Don't schedule it unless you're planning to heavily pad your arrival time and are willing to cool your heels once you arrive. It usually takes less than 10 minutes once you order a car.

Thanks much for the reply. I thought that was probably the case, but not having used Lyft before I thought it would be good to get some confirmation.
