Exclamation Chicago: Police warn of ride-hailing scam in South Loop

See article in Chicago Tribune: http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/l...018-story.html

Driver claims the charge for ride didn't go through on the app and asks passenger to enter bank card number and PIN manually, then uses info to withdraw funds. Article leaves lots of questions, like what's the interface the passenger sees, and what happens if passenger uses credit card rather than debit/ATM card, and why doesn't passenger just say "I can see it on my phone - We'll sort it out with Uber/Lyft later?"

IAC - a word to the wise here in Chicago. (That link is a "breaking news" link and may need updating later in the day)
