CID Home Base
 

Anyone here have CID as a home base?

Do you often (or not) partake in mileage runs and the like? As there's not a whole lot of competition (albeit better than years past) I'd be curious for some general tips for FF that do head out from CID and just some experiences. The budget options are what they are, however I've had staggeringly different experiences with UA/AA/DEL on my infrequent travels, and would love to hear from regular travelers who they go with and why.

I went to college in Mt Vernon so am familiar with the area, we've discussed getting some fellow Iowa Flyertalkers together in this thread: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/midwe...le-iowa-3.html A meetup (called a Do on FT) doesn't have to be in Coralville, Cedar Rapids would be fine!

I am in the Iowa City / CR area. Would love to exchange ideas about mileage runs or manufactured spending in our area.
