ord lost and found? (United)
 

Hey guys,

New to the forum. Just had a query. Would anyone know if United shifts lost carry ons to some sort of baggage hub after a certain period of time? Kept a precious precious precious handbag on a United flight to ORD but thankfully a gentleman from United called to say he'd found it.

That was 3 weeks ago and sadly still no bag. I've been trying to call their department for quite some time now but I dont think theres a human on the other side. I'd be willing to fly down from Calgary just to obtain it but am not sure if a day of wandering in Chicago (never stepped outside the airport :o) so close to the holidays would be fruitful. A local buddy has already walked into their L&F with a description but was told no such item could be seen. As it contains several vital documents I'm rather anxious it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.

Any information (like phone numbers or addresses even) would be greatly appreciated!
