Fortunately, the injuries were minor, but inexcusable, nonetheless.

For those that are interested, new full body scanners will be coming to 2 of the security checkpoints in the coming weeks.

Thanks for the info. Do you know on which concourse(s)?

I went through a Nude-O-Scope for the first time in June (MCI) and must admit it was a little daunting.

You may want to add your information to the FT thread which discusses the scanners, and update the list of airports so equipped.

Do you happen to know which, erm, flavor -- millimeter wave or backscatter?

Now in operation at MKE. Does anyone know on which concourse?

Concourses C and D. For the time being, Concourse E does not have them.

Just read the whole thread as this is *my* airport. I love MKE - easy, comfortable...definitely not perfect. A bit shabby here and there but not bad compared to plenty of others. My gripes are few - food choices (poor), lack of free internet, and those stupid tiny bathroom stalls on E - whoever designed these stalls where you can't barely use them without hitting your elbows on the dividers deserves a kick in the pants. Regular bookstore customer; park at FastPark now after a few yrs at the remote lot. Generally couldn't be happier that MKE is where I fly!

Oh, and glad to see E doesn't have the full body scanners since that is where I am 95% of the time - whew!

About time! I think we have some of the roughest runways around. They make me want to turn to non-MKE flyers and apologize when they land here.

It looks like E will be getting a body scanner, I believe by the end of the month.

TSA is looking for a few folks. Good to see that they appear to be increasing their staffing to handle the crowds at MKE.

Today's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel has a display ad from the TSA for MKE positions. Oddly enough, the ad is not placed in the employment section, but in Cue, which is the entertainment section.

I suppose with the body scanners now installed at MKE, the job could be very entertaining.
