Hallq308 Promo Code

Ok, i just figured it out, it gives you a huge huge savings for flights that are really expensive, it might be the promo code that Priceline uses for fares.

I priced out a flight for tommorow from KC to Milwaukee - on Midwest it comes out to $1000 but with this promo code Hallq308 it drops it to $188

After September, you need to switch it to Hallq408

This weekend, Flight from KC to LGA is 188 using this promo

How did you come across this code? It looks like it works for a few different flights that I checked.

You really found a good one! It does not appear to work on codeshares and has other restrictions, but, when it works, it comes up with a fare of $188.13 + fees and taxes. The funny part is, there don't ever appear to be fuel surcharges on fares booked with this promo code, whereas, there are on the same itninerary w/o the code.

By looking at the fare and notes, it appears as tho this is to get previous customers/agents back to YX.

you need to change it to 408 for anything after september

You can even do kind of a mini mileage run even, you can do DEN-MKE-OMA-DCA for 188

I got this code legitimately. I would have posted it, but I didn't know it couldn't be traced back...it's for people who have miles expiring soon on YX, and its trying to get us to fly soon to extend our expiration...

It appears that this is a quarterly promotion, with "Hallq108" for the 1st quarter of 2008, "Hallq208" for the 2nd quarter, "Hallq308" for the 3rd quarter, and "Hallq408" for the 4th.

Not real hard code to break.

Wish I had known this yesterday. I booked a ATL-MKE flight for Monday and paid $540 / rt at 6 p.m.

Keep in mind that YX allows you to do a 24 hour courtesy hold either online (their site) or on phone (if you can get thru); if you do not complete the purchase within 24 hours, it will automatically cancel out.

Also, don't feel bad about not having the promo code, as it does not work with all itineraries.

Code

I just purchased a flight at an amazing price using this code. I feel like I am going to get to the airport and they are going to ask for verification, or if I am a travel agent, or proof of how I got the code. Has anyone successfully traveled using this code for discounted flights?

This promotion is targeted to MM members who have not had any mileage activity in awhile.

Out of curiosity, about when are you traveling, what city pairs, and how much discount did you get?

As long as you have a MM account and confirmed rez, there should not be a problem. Congrats on your bargain!

Anyone figure one out that works past the end of this year???

I am a MM member but I don't think I have ever received an e-mail from the airline with this promo code in it--although I usually just delete them! I also don't travel that often to build up any significant miles so maybe that's why I didn't get the code. I got the confirmed reservation, so wish me luck! I saved $200 (which helps since I am going to Vegas!)
