First time on Midwest.

Hi,
I'll be flying Midwest for the first time in August YX207 LAX-MKE and YX151 MKE-MCI and YX493 MCI-LAX on the return. I was wondering what to expect in terms of service, and also this is my first 717-200 flight so i wanted to know what the plane is like aswell. Any comments are appreciated. :)
Regards,
Nick

LAX-MKE will be on Saver Service with 2x3 seating. Seats are slightly wider (18") with slightly more pitch (distance between you and seat in front of you) than the average airline. Try and snag the exit row for a bit more leg room, avoid the back of the plane where the lavs and galley are. Free drinks, snack and free baked-on-board cookies if it's a lunch or dinner flight, otherwise a free muffin in the morning. Buy-on-board meals with also be available for $10 at lunch & dinner time. Hand held IFE systems with also be available for $10, they come pre loaded with movies, TV shows, music and head phones.

MKE-MCI-LAX will all be on signature service on the 717's, 2x2 leather seating with great width (21") and pitch (more comfortable than most first class seats on US airlines) Service will be the same....free drinks, snack and cookies, Buy-on-board meals available.

per your question on the 717's, YX's planes are very nice: New, quite and comfortable!

Check out this tread for more info on the Milwaukee airport, make sure you give your self enought time of visit the bookstore when you leave! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=433737

On all flights I would try to get a bulkhead, a little less room then the exit row but it is very quite. Anywhere you sit though it should be a nice ride, especially on the 717's

Actually i picked YX207 eastbound with a stop in MCI. I decided not to take the saver service due to the fact that i need a large seat and the 717's have em. Unfortuantely i will not have any time in Milwaukee cause right after i get my bags i board the parking shuttle to Amtrak then i take that down to Chicago then Detroit, Toronto, back to Detroit, back to Chicago, then Amtrak back to Milwaukee, and YX151/493 back to Los Angeles. Thanks for all your comments.

Nick

Let us know how the MKE rail station works. Connecting to Amtrak at MKE is a good posibility for several of my trips.
