DOT finally approves YX/F9 codeshare on Mexico routes

The DOT has finally approved the codeshare on Frontier's Mexico routes. Midwest will now be able to market these flights under their own code (or I should say Republic's code).

In conjunction with this ruling, Frontier announced that MCI-CUN will be extended through the summer season. Flights will be re-timed to allow for connections from MKE.

It wouldn't surprise me to see Frontier resume MKE-CUN this coming winter.
