Calling on all FTers in Dubai for help!

This is sort of O/T I know...

If some FTers visiting Dubai (or living there) could get me a few pictures of the QE2... it would be greatly appreciated.

She is easily visible from many places in town.

The ship is back in the harbour docked at the Passenger Cruise Terminal after she had a complete repaint job at the Al Mina Dry Dock.

what about the clubs, though? are they open, just no live music? obviously you can't drink until sunset, even if they are open. but do the majority of them close?

i noticed from this pretty authoritative guide/listing of night clubs in dubai that, as beergut said, *bars are mainly attached to Hotels anyway*, and some of the night clubs listed are attached to hotels. a lot aren't however.

so, would i be able to visit these places if i visited during ramadan? or not?

A few may be open but only with quiet background music, the majority will be shut.

Ramadan is now over for 2009.
