Mid-Range Hotels in Bahrain
 

I'm looking for a mid-range hotel for one night in central Manama.

The Delmon and Mashtan both sound good--any thoughts on these two or other hotels?

The problem with mid-range hotels in Manama is that they are used for prostitution, especially on the weekends when people drive over from Saudi Arabia. I thought I found myself a nice boutique hotel when I was there, but was subject to a knock on my door every hour until I got up in the morning and found another hotel. When I walked in the new place, the desk guy didn't want to give me a room as they didn't allow working girls in the place, nor did the have a bar or club, which he thought I was looking for. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of it. Sorry. I guess the point is to be wary.
