Middle East

Hi, can anyone tell me what it's like in Tunisia when travelling with children, and also would it be beneficial to go All-Inclusive as I have 3 children or is the cost of food there reasonable. If anyone knows where is the best place to stay, let me know.

One word of caution about all-inclusives in Tunisia - make sure that meal schedules are appropriate for children, as people there tend to dine very late. I have seen places where dinner was served at 9PM, so if your children are not used to this, it might be an issue.

You might wish to explore the option of renting an appartment-hotel with kitchenette.

In general people love children over there, so your children might actually be an asset.

Tunisia is a great country.. if you have time and your children are interested, a visit to the Star Wars sets is worthwhile (details in Lonely Planet guide).

I found Tunisia a lovely place to go to (although it is not in the middle east :p ) Food was well priced, but all inclusive would also be excellent value

Welcome to FT

Cheers
