Shopping in Dubai?

Hi!

Going to Dubai on march 4, will stay for 9 nights at the Intercontinental.

I have heard some people talk about the shopping in Dubai. Some says its very cheap. My question is about electronics. Im in need of a new notebook computer, is it worth buying this in Dubai compared to Europe? Is there any of the Dubai computer shops that publish their prices online?
