Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi vs Conrad Abu Dhabi?

I'm going to spend one night (36 hrs) in Abu Dhabi before making my way to Seychelles. I'm Hilton Diamond and Hyatt Globalist. I'm trying to decide between one of these two hotels...

Conrad Abu Dhabi is 70,000 HH points or $341 for the base room

Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi is 15,000 WOH points or $241 for the base room

What's important to me is comfort, benefits, and perks. Both lounges are open so I can take advantage of that with my elite status. I readily have WOH points available, but not with the Hilton Honors. I would have to pay cash or open the Amex HH business card for the points. I'm already using my HH free night certificates and points for Seychelles.

I easily have the points for the Grand Hyatt, but the Conrad just has the wow factor for me.

Would love to see if anyone who has personally stayed at either one of these hotels to give insight and feedback, especially when it comes to maximizing my elite status. TIA

I've stayed in neither but that is easily my least liked cluster of Abu Dhabi hotels. At least the Conrad (which looks to me like it's the old Jumeirah Etihad Towers?) has the benefit of (on the high floors, on the right side) a good view. But maybe I'm just an old snob.

Grand Hyatt treated me like royalty when I was there. I'm a fake 2021 globalist and still got upgraded to a suite. The pool is nice, breakfast top notch, and their lounge is great too. I can't speak for the Conrad but 15k points is deceptively cheap for what you get at the Grand Hyatt. Unless the Conrad is amazing I would go with GH again in a heartbeat.
