Airside hotel in Dubai?

Is there an airside place to sleep in Dubai? I'll be arriving on the BA flight and out again 7 hours later (overnight layover) on EK (on QF codeshare).

Or is there a suitable lounge to use with a BA gold card I can use to sleep in?

I don't mind paying for overnight accomodation but I'd like minimum delay and maximum sleeping time.

Thanks.

I guess you'll want to be in T3 for your EK onward flight ?

Has any FlyerTalker actually stayed here---Dubai International Airport Hotel? While it seems convenient overall, there are three different concourses you can book in the hotel: A, B and C. Yet, when you look at DXB's website, they have Terminals 1-4. I'm assuming Concourse C is closest to Terminal 4, where Turkish Airlines departs from.

Some posters on TripAdvisor state that they booked in the wrong Concourse and thus were a good 20-25 minutes from their gate. The hotel's website isn't much help either. In fact, for a "5 star" hotel, its website is awful.

What happens to luggage if one is in transit? We'll be arriving at DXB on Emirates from Mauritius and flying out 9 hours later on Turkish.

I don't know what website you are looking at, but Dubai airport has only 3 passenger terminals.

Concourses A, B and C are part of Terminal 3.

Concourse D is part of Terminal 1.

Concourse F is part of Terminal 2.

Turkish Airlines operates from Terminal 1 (Concourse D).

Concourses A, B and C are linked airside, but concourses D and F are standalone and require a bus link between them and any other concourse.

Basically two principal terminals, T3 for Emirates, T1 for others. T2 is on the other side of the airport for (basically) low-cost carriers.

The confusion is perhaps from what is now part of T1 being known for a time as T4.

THY uses T1

Dubai International Airport Hotel

Hi.

I stayed in it the hotel at the end of February. I guessed at Concourse C for my stay.

On checking in the lady said I could have tried concourse B ( as this is closer to the UK bound flights). If they had room i would have been checked in.

Concourse C is a little bit longer to get to, however I was happy to reach it.

The hotel is airside only and I think you can only stay for a maximum of 24hours.

I think as long as you have a connecting flight within this time your hold buggage will be scheduled to go on your connecting flight.

However contact your airline or Dubai airport for advice. I was only travelling with hand luggage at the time.

The bed in the room is exceedingly comfortable and i had a terrific sleep.
