Is it possible to get an alcoholic drink in the new Doha airport ? If so do i need Qatari Riyals or can I pay in a different currency

Yes, for example the Caviar House has alcohol. They definitely take credit cards; most outlets also take foreign currency. Worst case, you can exchange airside.

No alcohol during Ramadan though.
