Changes in RUH / Riyadh arrival (Nov 2014)

Arrived back in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, last night on Lufthansa from Frankfurt after being away for a month (back home, mostly).

The immigration area has been completely rebuilt and is now one of the best I've seen. Instead of an hour wait in line it was 5 minutes. Waiting for luggage is only 10 minutes instead of the usual 30 minutes at the United terminal at LAX. Very nice.

It seems they have changed their staff and service at the major saudi airports. No more grouchy lazy military uniform officers. More of the gulf style young culturally dressed professional who speaks more than one language.
