Do you really think this hotel has promo codes??? The price is the price.....you can't even get to the property unless you have a reservation and a credit card in advance for dinner or to go to the bar. Personally I would not stay there again even if there was a fire sale there.
I checked out early when I was there the service is very sad and the staff have to much attitude for me. This is one of the worst places in the world to stay for the money.....

As I said it the post the hotels website is 2400 a night while hotel.com is 2000... for some reason there is a difference..

Can't agree more.

They can forget me forever. Pathetic place. Rooms are as tacky as possible...service is incredibly poor -but with an arrogant attitude- spa is ugly. Way overpriced. And food is boring. 7 stars ? No chance.

At this point in time, it's still about $2.2k on Jumeirah's website, but if you purchase through Visa Signature's Luxury Hotels service (Chase BA Visa is a Visa Sig, for instance), it's as low as $1359/nt. Plus you get a free upgrade thrown in. Here's the complete list of Visa Sig bennies:

Guaranteed best available rate
Automatic room upgrade upon arrival, when available
Free in-room Internet or Valet parking
Complimentary continental breakfast
3PM check-out, when available
VIP Guest status
$25 food or beverage voucher
That $25 food/beverage voucher oughta buy you a Diet Coke if you pay the tax. :D:D

The reason I found this thread was I was trying to find how many Jumeirah/Sirius points are required to book the Burj al Arab. Jumeirah/Sirius is an Amex USA MR transfer partner at 23:1. But I have no idea how many points a night at the Burj al Arab costs. I can't sign up for Jumeirah/Sirius right now because their signup servers are down. Anyone know how many points it takes?

Update: Finally managed to find it: 7050 Jumeirah/Sirius points at minimum for a Burj al Arab stay. That comes to 162,150 Amex MR, which is $3243 at 2 cpm or $1621 at 1 cpm, a bloody bad value given Visa Sig's prices.
