Which DCA Lounge - Delta or Continental

Which lounge is better? DCA Terminal B

In terms of

views
drinks
food
atmosphere

You might get a better response if you posted this in the airline forums area?

This is anecdotal, since I've only been in the Presidents Club at DCA twice, and I've been in the Crown Room (whoops, "Sky Club" now!) about 30 times in the past couple of years....but I thought the Presidents Club was a lot quieter, and definitely has better views.

It may not be interesting to some, but for atmosphere, I find the CO PC really fascinating. It was created from the space once used for a high end restaurant many years ago when there was just the old terminal in existence at DCA. A small museum style exhibit of the airport's history is adjacent to the PClub but I don't think you're able to connect to it from within. I've never been in the DL SkyClub and I'm sure it's very nice, but the historical aspect is very unique.

There's also a good view of the south half of the airfield from there.

CO PC

Hands down it's the President's Club

Well worth the short extra walk (& travelator)

I wonder how many of us remember that

very fine dining restaurant from long ago

The other terrific eatery (high line) was at

the old PIT and it was called "The Four Winds"

Not too many stations had great food

I've been to both of them many times and I agree with the other posters that the CO President's Club wins hands down even though some of the other lounges at DCA, such as the Crown Room and the USAir Club are also really very good.

It is, in my experience, one of the most bright and pleasant airline lounges in the country that is run by a domestic carrier

Great views, otherwise mediocre. Whereas the DL club is just mediocre. Both could be worse (cf. Northwest club @ DCA)

one of DL's has/had a golf putting thing

Great!

Thanks for the recommendations!

I prefer the DL lounge. At peak times, available seating in the CO lounge is sparse.
