Mailboxes at DCA?

I know IAD has mailboxes just past baggage claim, but cannot recall if there are any at DCA. I called to check and was told no, but I just wanted double check here.

I am in Los Angeles right now but have a connection in DCA in the morning and would like to mail a letter I am sending to Northern VA from there.

I don't know about mail boxes, but usually, the folks at Travelers Aid, on the departure level outside security between the USAir and UA/AA/USAirExpress gates, will offer to mail letters for people.

before jets, and when the 10 pm curfew was in effect, and only terminal A(not called A)there were mailboxes in the neighborhood of what is now marked as the USO club on the map. there was a door to the parking area, and the boxes were there. could also have been where the pedestrian walkway hits A.

the escalator was used to load the eastern shuttle of locheed electras.

there are at least 3 maildrops shown in the main terminals. check the map.

If all else fails, the post office in Crystal City is right across the street from where the trail from the airport emerges (12-15 minute brisk walk one-way if you know the way).

I think there is a mailbox drop by the "C" concourse near the Chevy Chase ATM's and the Foreign Exchange Store

RMINIONE is right. There is indeed a mail drop there. It is in the wall (not a free-standing box) at the end of a small hallway that goes into the building (opposite the big windows).

I know there's a mailbox at the south end of the airport, right outside the general (corporate) aviation area, the last building you see on the left on the shuttle ride to the economy lots.
