Intresting. Some $1.00 fares left in March. I may have to check them out. WiFi does make the time go faster (thanks hulu!)

BusZoo.com is offering more services for $1.00

Just found BusZoo.com is offering $1.00 to New York, DC, Philly, Richmond and Norfolk.

It looks like there's price war going on in East Coast. This is good for all commuters especially gap price is so high.

Forget about the $1 fares on Buszoo

no longer available. seems Apex Bus changed everything to $20 each to match their regular website.

I'm taking Bolt tomorrow NY-WAS. I should have a chance to post some info about the trip later in the week.

So how was it? DC Express has wifi equipped buses as well, but its hit or miss if you get one.

So who here is a Chinatown bus plant?

Welcome to FT to both of you anyway...

I take Apex to Philly quite often. Smells like urine, but it leaves from a block away and deposits me two blocks from where I need to be, so...

Any news/ reviews of Bolt? Is it a "you get what you pay for" scenario? Roundtrip to Boston for 2.50 seems too good to be true!

The initial reviews on Yelp seem positive, with two major caveats:

1. more than one person has complained about a bus not showing up.
2. the wifi isn't compatible with Mac computers (supposedly, they're working on this).

I have two trips scheduled in the next four weekends...hoping for the best and will let you know how it turns out.

Bolt Bus

I took it two weeks ago. It was fine. I had a round trip to from Philly to NYC. They both left on time. Also thir custom service was efficient; I sent them an e-mail and got response in an hour. A reminder, be sure to get there 15 minutes; the driver of my returning bus was ready to sell the seats of those who were not on board at 15 minutes before the departure time, despite the pleas of their friends who assured him they were coming.
