You're in luck. This is from the WMATA website:

"Multiple day parking is available at three stations: Greenbelt, Huntington and Franconia-Springfield. Each of these stations has between 15 and 17 spaces allocated for multi-day use of up to 10 days, which are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

These spaces, located inside the regular facilities and not at the metered (kiss and ride) spaces are at . . . Level 1J at Franconia station."

Given the limited number of long-term designated spaces, I can't speak to whether such a space would be available on any particular day. Good luck.

OP was only asking about parking over ONE night. According to the Metro website "All-day parking, up to 24 hours, is available at all stations that have Metro-operated parking lots." i.e. Overnight parking (not to exceed 24 hours total) is perfectly proper at any Metro-operated lot.

Obviously, they won't know exactly when you parked, so the "24 hours" can only be loosely enforce. Just don't park over 2 nights - that might be asking for enforcement of the 24-hour rule.
