Driving from Philly to Chicago

So google maps says I-80.

Can I take I-76 first?

Anything more interesting? I do want to do it in a 24 hour period including some sleep.

If you are leaving from downtown Philly, take the crummy Schuylkill Expressway West to the Penna Turnpike entrance etc. I-80 is too far north in eastern PA.

Completing this in a 24-hour period shouldn't be any problem at all, even with a good night's sleep. I've driven this in 12 hours with two meal breaks.

Also done this in around 12 hours a few years ago. You may want to do a quick for any construction/road work issues. We wound up losing at least an hour because of road work in Ohio.

I forgot to add the Penna Turnpike, I-80 etc are prime hunting grounds for the various state police and their big big $$$ speeding tickets. Good luck.
