hlr, what about Old Town Alexandria? I think that has more harbor charm plus shops, boutiques than Annapolis. I see your located in Alexandria, so have you already taken your folks around Old Town. . .

Yes, we've done Old Town. We usually go out to dinner there at least one night that they are here. But my father has already gone through those stores (or waited outside), so I think a change of scenery would be nice...

I think that Flemmings is a great place to go eat. It's kind of pricey but has really good food and it's kind of upscale so it's not too loud. Great date place too btw.
