What to Do in/near Dulles
 

Hi, tried searching didn't find much.
What is there to do given, say, 3-6 hours at Dulles between flights? leave security & take a taxi somewhere? anything worth seeing nearby? udvar-hazy? anything fun to do in the airport or within walking/short cab ride?

I second the recommendation on the Smithsonian.

Or if you want to eat something, you can cab it to Reston Town Center, where there's a decent selection (incluing Clyde's and Paolo's). About 15 mins from IAD.
