Good thing we have a choice in the DC area! :) |

The cab ride is faster than many of the economy parking bus rides, and for stays of 3 days or more it's cheaper. If I time it right, even the 5A bus from Herndon-Monroe is faster than the airport parking buses.
But for my business trips, I've found Daily Garage 2 to be pretty convenient. For leisure trips (non-reimbursable) I take the cheapskate route and use Herndon-Monroe. |

There are non-stops to LAX from both DCA (AS) and BWI (UA). It's just that you choose to take AA which means IAD for you ;)

DG1 is the way to go

1. The future benefit to DG1 is that they are building security lines underground so you will be able to clear TSA without going upstairs (assuming you brought your boarding pass with you). I may be dead before this happens, but that's what's reported. 2. AFA bypassing security lines, if you head ALLLLLL the way to the end of the ticket counters (opposite end from DG2 and AA), the lines tend to be MUCH shorter here during peak times. |
