Lowest in the past 10 years at least :) The rain was quite a damper! We made the mistake of not going to the Mall (wet grass and all) and watched the fireworks from the roofdeck of a 10-storey condo in Dupont Circle instead. Not even close to getting the same effect as being on the Mall. But being able to drink champagne as the fireworks exploded was a nice plus :D

...and ~4 years later...

Other than the Hay-Adams, does anyone know of any other DC hotels that have 4th of July specials (rooftop / balcony parties, that kind of thing).
