IAD layover 1 1/2 hours from Concourse D to C
We haven't flown internationally (like many) in quite some time. Since the layover is only 1 1/2 hours ,should we head straight to the gate or spend a little time in the lounge? (lounge is very close to the gate.)

If it’s IAD, D & C terminals are essentially one, long terminal. If arrival flight is on time, 1.5 hours is enough time for a lounge visit. I do it frequently. I’m assuming you’re on United. I’ve done international flights from IAD in July, October and will, again, in 10 days.
