Transfer time from international to domestic at IAD
 

I have a flight that lands at Dulles from Copenhagen at 3:15 PM on a Friday. I will be transferring to a domestic United flight that departs at 5:15 PM. Normally I check a bag, but I am a little concerned about how long it typically may take at Dulles to get bag, go through customs and recheck bag. I have never transferred through Dulles before.

I look forward to the words of those who have done this. I may end up struggling to do it with only carry-on bags

Are you a US citizen? That is peak time at Dulles; as a US citizen/permanent resident that should be fine but if not then it could take significantly longer.

Yes I am a US citizen and I have Global Entry. I am also committed as my flight back is tomorrow and I checked a bag. So I will find out!
