Probably less than a Friday or Saturday only flight, but it could be used for some vacation destinations (bring the people returning, then send off the next group) on a weekly basis.

1. AA received ~$400 million from the various slot transactions. Although they "paid" Delta for the DCA slots (with the LGA slot exchange), only to have to surrender them, at least they seem to have bought low and sold high.

2. Looks like VX will attempt to use their slots to fly to DAL (from DCA, LGA, & ORD), with onward connections to SFO/LAX:

Via Post reporter Lori Aratani's live-tweeting of today's MWAA board meeting: The post-merger reshuffling of slots means WN gets three new gates in Terminal A and B6 will move to the center pier--somewhere in gates 23-34, unless she mis-tweeted.

This is a decent summary of the airports that will be affected by the slot changes at DCA: http://crankyflier.com/2014/03/25/wi...-slot-shuffle/
