Quick IAD ?
 
I am flying UA out of IAD and a friend is also flying out around same time on Virgin Atlantic. Can we meet up after going through security?

Do I have access to all concourses at IAD?

I cant recall if I am limited to the UA concourse or if I can wander over to the lounges that LH and other airlines use.

All the concourses are connected behind security. If you are Star Gold, you can use the LH Lounge, however, your friend cannot since he is not flying a Star Alliance carrier.

All concourses can be accessed once you clear security. You won't have any problem.

Thanks, its been so long since I went through IAD. Indeed, he will be using the VS lounge, its very nice - I think nicer than the LH one but sure is great to have that available over the UC.

Yes, the VS lounge at IAD is definitely very nice, better than LH!
