Dining recommendations Baltimore Inner Harbor area
On an upcoming trip, the BHs expect to find themselves in Baltimore on Ms BH's birthday & would appreciate suggestions for a "good" place for dinner somewhere convenient to the Inner Harbor Marriott. TIA.

Baltimore Restaurants
Although I have not personally dined at either of these restaurants, my friends in Baltimore highly recommend:
Cinghiale, http://cgeno.com and Vina Rosina, http://vinorosina.com/Vino_Rosina/Home.html |
Lots of good options in Little Italy, which is Inner Harbor walkable.
|
We always enjoy Della Notte. Not a bad walk from the Inner Harbor. Ask for a table by the tree (don't worry, it's inside): http://www.dellanotte.com/

Both Chingale and Della Notte are very good Italian options...I have eaten at both and would give Chingale a slight edge on quality and menu options. Other options in the Harbor East area:
Wit & Wisdom - new Michael Minna restaurant in the Four Seasons Roy's Hawaiian Charleston - usually the highest rated restaurant in Baltimore but it's very expensive Pazo - great tapas place that's very popular All the restaurants I have recommend and the ones previously recommend by others are closer to the Marriott Waterfront....which by the way is better than the Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards. Only place closer to the Marriott Inner Harbor that I would recommend is the Capitol Grill for steaks. Whatever you do don't get suckered into Phillips, McCormick and Schmicks or the Rusty Scupper for seafood...they are tourist traps. |
I second christianj about avoiding the tourist traps, especially Phillips.
