Cancun Airport
 

My flight arrives in Cancun at 11:07am. I'm taking a bus to Merida, and I'd like to purchase the ticket in advance. About what time can I expect to reach the central bus station in Cancun, assuming I don't dawdle in the airport?

What day of the week are you arriving on? On a recent Saturday late afternoon, the immigration line was 40 mins, the customs line was longer, and the wait for a taxi or shuttle was at least as bad as the above two. (Total elapsed time from walking off the plane to Hotel Zone hotel was 3 hours.) Airport workers and the driver said it had been like that all day. On a recent Friday evening, from walking off the plane, to buying my shuttle ticket was about 10 minutes.
