Forum at Monterrey

Anybody been to the Forum? I'll be there in couple of weeks and have some free weekend time...it's all my colleagues down there can talk about, but I'm not too excited based on what I've read about it. Seems like they're just trying to be another World's Fair / World Expo, combined with Epcot or something? Anything really neat there, other than Luca the huge marionette which already has a million youtube performances. I must be missing something, or maybe traveled enough by now that I don't get too excited when I see a Khmer dance in Mexico or something.

Jim, I think you will find the Paseo Santa Lucia very interesting and a great walking environment. This might be one of the best urban parks in that I have ever seen.

The tour of the old steel mill was worthwhile as well.

Try the cabrito at El Caterina and the Cava Antigua tequila!!!

The statute of Neptune and light show at night is nice to see as well.

Thanks, I've been to Monterrey and agree with your suggestions.

I was wondering about the Forum specifically when I said "there".
