Restaurant Recommendations in Cabo?
 

I've read quite a few of old threads but haven't found a comprehensive recent listing of recommendations for restaurants in Cabo San Lucas and San Jose Del Cabo. Going for 6 nights in less than a month and planning to do most meals "in town" rather than at our hotel (the Hilton).

What do people recommend, and what do most of these places cost for dinner for two, excluding alcohol?

Any tips are appreciated.

In Cabo we really like the Ruth's Chris there. You can ask to be seated out on the patio, overlooking the harbor, with the sea breeze rolling in, it's very nice.

In San Jose del Cabo there's lots of good places, but we really enjoy The Tropicana. Again if it's not too hot you can sit outside, this is particularly fun for a long mojito fueled lunch, watching the tourists and the vendors go by.

The Tropicana will also grill the fish you catch for you, according to your taste.

I'm not sure if they take reservations from outside the hotel, but Las Jicamas at the Crowne Plaza is a very good gourmet Mexican restaurant. You reserve through the Crowne Plaza concierge.
