no. When you arrive you will be directed down a hallway that funnels into customs. You would not be able to clear security without a ticket and the lounges are airside.

Thank you, appreciate the reply. Guess I'll go ahead and check a bag then, any suggestions as to where there might be a good place to bide my time for a few hours then?

I was there a few days ago. I was in their national business club, not the international business club. They had scrambled eggs w/frijoles. Ham and cheese sandwiches. Juice, yogurt, soda, beer, liquor, cookies, cake etc. Not crowded at all.

Not sure how recent this is as I see a few defunct airlines on the list. But I flew Delta and I saw United in T3 as well. International (obviously).

On edit: just checked all the Mera lounges on priority pass app and they all show open, which means they are all actually closed since the one in T3 is closed. I'll report back on my way home if they are closed in T4 too.

I arrived at the Cancun airport T4 just now, and all Mera Lounges are open here. I'm at the one near gate 60. Not sure why they're closed in T3.
Soft drinks and dessert are self-service, but everything else is served by the waiter from the menu.
They provide you a plastic bag to temporarily store your mask while eating.

As an update, we were there on Jan. 7, 2021. The lounge was open, but not accepting Priority Pass. One either had to be “prepaid by your hotel or travel agent” or pay 36USD. We paid and found only a dozen or so people inside. Complimentary drinks and food brought to your seat. Overall, quite decent experience. Whether or not it’s worth $72 per couple, your call. I’m writing this 3 weeks later, so things may have changed.
