When will my 2021 qualifying year of Elite status be applied to my Account so I can track my path to Lifetime Elite Status?

- A Member achieved Platinum Elite in 2020 and enjoyed the status in 2021. They received their 2021 year of Platinum status in November 2021 when they their status was extended to February 2023.
- A Gold Elite Member achieved Platinum Elite in April 2021; the Platinum year of Elite status for 2021 was applied upon achievement (in April 2021).

Originally, the app said the same for me. After a few days it seemed to correct itself and now shows the correct LT status and correctly shows the next up as LT Plat.
If it's not critical to you now (for me, I'm currently Prem Plat anyway), I'd just let them sort stuff out. If it matters now, give them a call.

I had the same problem. In my case, when I then merged accounts, it triggered a recalculation and corrected itself. If you have already merged or don't want to merge, then you should contact them.
FWIW, I had contacted them, twitter and email, before the merge corrected it. Twitter took 10 days to respond, by then it was fixed. Email replied in one day with this message: "After further reviewing your account, I do see where your account should have been upgraded. At this time, we are still reviewing account and ask that you allow us 5-10 business days to fix your status."

Not yet. Others postes that their spg nights of this year were missing in the lifetime total,
they were added some time later. I will wait 72 hours. If they don't get added automatically i will contact support.
my fna from spg 50 benefit is also gone, but already before i merged the accounts after 18th august. Contacted support and they cant find/see it anywhere in their systems. They promised they will get back to me...

SPG never counted lifetime points, an issue brought up myriad times and declared to have no effect upon LT status, so for what purpose would MR start to do so now?

because you can still qualify for LT status under the old rules till EOY. The Marriott rules were nights and points ... so it is still very relevant if you have 500 nights, less than 10 years but almost enough points. It is IMO very relevant that the LT points that are showing up seem to be frozen to the pre-merger value. I had stays since at legacy Marriott properties that have posted, but they don't seem to increase the LT point total anymore. Tough to track it then!

That's odd. I've been tracking wife's LT points through the LoyaltyLobby link and hers has increased with all the post merger Marriott stays and a pre-merger missing stay that just posted. Have a SPG stay tonight, so will find out if they also increase the LT total. Hope so, as she is only about 36K short of LTPP.

It is relevant if you're adding to legacy MR points but this post is different from your previous one because that inquired about SPG not adding to your LT points totals and it never will.
If you want to qualify under legacy qualification then it's only MR or only SPG, if you want to qualify under combined thresholds then points are irrelevant; anything involving SPG for LT levels and points are irrelevant.

MR points yes, but the OP was inquiring about tracking MR AND SPG points. There is no track of the latter nor any need for it.

If a member achieves Platinum Elite Lifetime status in the current Marriott Rewards criteria by 12/31/2018; it means that they have stayed 750 nights and have 2M points at Platinum Elite status in Marriott or Ritz-Carlton Hotels. If they achieve this status by year end 2018, they will be grandfathered into Platinum Premier Lifetime status and receive notice of this Lifetime achievement in January 2019.
